Hi Mommie35:

Welcome to the forums...

#1 If you look at your task bar on the lower right corner of your PC you should see an icon in red with a line though it. Right click it and if you see "View Wireless Networks" click that option. Once the popup screen comes up it should list your wireless router, select it and click "Connect". If the wireless router does not have security enabled you should be able to connect with no issues.

#2 If you do not see any wireless networks look around on the top of your laptop near the keyboard. There should be a tiny button there or on the side of the laptop. It typically has a light inside of the button. If it is not lit press it, if it lights up blue this will enable your internal wireless card. The repeat the steps in #1 above.

Hope this helps,

Steven
